There are only five episodes to go before The Walking Dead bows out for another year, and it seems next week's outing will switch things up a gear.
A brand new sneak peek has been released for the episode - titled 'The Key' - which sees Rick (Andrew Lincoln) quite literally collide with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in a car chase sequence that looks t be more action-packed than every scene in the latest episode combined.
Rick runs Negan off the road to the alarm of both Simon (Steven Ogg) and Dwight (Austin Amelio) who has found himself back in the belly of the beast despite his defection to the side of the former.
The leader, who is still reeling from the death of his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) who got bitten by a walker during the tail-end of the eighth season's first half, seems tired of waiting to end All Out War and looks like he's more of an adversary to The Saviours than ever before.
Could Negan's days be numbered? With The Walking Dead proving continued willingness to dispatch of any character at any given moment, that's certainly a possibility.
Fans of the show were left frustrated due to a moment in the latest episode which left them convinced the writers have forgotten a key detail about one of the show's leading characters.
You can watch the sneak peek above.
